The capital city and the alpine jewel of Slovenia

Ljubljana is large enough to have everything other capitals have and at the same time is small enough to show warmth and hospitality to every visitor. It is a friendly city with visible remains of the Roman city of Emona. Ljubljana has a baroque old part of town, with narrow cobbled streets nestled between the castle slopes and the river Ljubljanica. The architecture of the city centre has lots of contrasting styles from art nouveau mansions to chic modern buildings. Particular high-lights of the old town include the Cathedral of St.Nikolai, City hall, Three bridges and the open market.

Bled -- An excellent opportunity to take a walk through time and get to know the alpine jewel of Slovenia. You have a chance to see the natural beauties of Bled but at the same time to learn about the history of Bled from its beginning to what it is today. When the first Slavic people settled here, through the time of the Bishops of Brixen and the start of tourism… From the summit of the castle cliff a breath taking view of the mountain scenery and panorama of elegant hotels opens up. To get the full experience, gondola type boats (pletna) can take you to the little romantic island with the lovely Baroque church and the famous wishing bell.
